HiTech Boomers is a consultation site where users may solve computer problems by calling in, one-on-one at home training or remote desktop assistance. You can learn how to utilise various types of new applications and technology such as iPad, iPhones, social media sites, Skype, Mac Books and e-mail or chat.
The target market, the baby-boomers of the 1940s, was important to consider for the design of the site. Those born in that time may not be able to navigate a computer and find solutions to computer problems as fast as generations who followed. The site has to be simple with bold clear font that is not hard to read. Drop down menus make for complicated navigation so simply linked pages were added to the menu bar. HiTech Boomers also required a logo and business card design.
