Very busy clients, Cargo Networking, approached us to redo their existing website to modern standards. They felt their website had too much information and small fonts which made it challenging for users to read. They left all of the entire website design process in our hands and were happy to only see the final product.
Our team chose a minimalist look for the website which is trendy and most likely will remain trendy for a while. This trend is all about functionality and aesthetics and we used these characteristics to drive the user to get in touch with the team at Cargo Networking. Minimalism has other benefits, including; a faster load time, less content cluttering and an easier journey that allows users to concentrate on the services being sold.
We chose to use one large image on the homepage background as a canvas to make it look spacious and visually appealing. In addition, one accent colour that is bold contrasts against the white and grey background.
With more than 90% of website traffic coming from mobile devices, it was imperative to create a website that is mobile friendly and smoothly adjusts to any screen size.
